Knob Noster Split Session Open Tournament

TIME: Session 1 - 9:00 a.m.-session includes 6 & under, 8 & under, and 10 & under age groups
Session 2 - Begins as soon as 1st session concludes followed by a short warm up period. 12 & under and 14 & under

DEADLINE: Entries must be received by Tuesday, February 10, 2009

ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per wrestler (nonrefundable). Please pay by club, fee must accompany entry.

All wrestlers must have a current USA card. Make checks payable to KNOB NOSTER

WEIGH INS: Saturday, February 14, 7:00-8:30 p.m. All ages.
Sunday, February 15, Session 1 7:00-8:30 a.m./Session 2 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
*Singlets required at weigh-in. No weight allowance given. No changing weight classes

due to missed weight.

6 & UNDER SUPER SLAM: Competitive bracketing with one true champion. Champion will be

awarded a nice plaque and bracket. Everyone will medal. Photographer to be on hand

to take pictures of top 6 on podium and on hand to take action shots all day.

WEIGHT CLASSES: (Age is based on the wrestler's age as of January 1, 2009.)

6 & Under: 35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70,HWT
8 & Under: 40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,100,115,130,HWT
10&Under: 50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,110,120,130,150,HWT
12&Under: 60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,130,140,150,165,190,HWT
14&Under: 70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,145,155,165,175,205,HWT
*Please list exact weight of hwt. We reserve the right to combine weight classes. Clubs must rank their wrestlers.
Rank wrestlers by indicating:
1=National/State Placer 2=State Qualifier 3=Experienced 4=Novice

BRACKETS: Competitive bracketing

ADMISSION: $3 Adults, $2 Student, $2 Senior Citizens, 4 and under Free

COACHES MEETING: 8:30 a.m.

CONCESSIONS: Breakfast and Lunch will be available. Hospitality room for coaches and officials.

The Knob Noster Youth Wrestling Club, Knob Noster School District, all tournament workers and volunteers involved shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries, and lost or stolen property for any person participating or in attendance.

All other ages other than 6 and under will medal 4 for 8 man brackets or less and 6 for more than a 8 man bracket.
All champions will receive a champion's bracket.
We will also be giving team trophy's to the top 3 team's. This will be based on the best averages of the top 8 kids per team.
